Lakewood Park Regional Park / Pool

Park Information Active and passive recreational opportunities abound throughout 156 acres. Gravel and grass trails wind through natural lands where native vegetation flourishes.  The aquatic features of the park begin at the zero entry pool and continue with the splash park. Additional Information Trails: A variety of paved (0.9 miles), gravel (1.5 miles) and natural (.3 miles) trails wind through the Preserve.  Interpretive signage is located along the trails.
Habitat: Wet Pine Flatwoods with a few scattered depression marshes.
Commonly seen wildlife: Mockingbird, red-bellied woodpecker, armadillo, cardinal and catbird.
Historical Interest Located within Lakewood Park Regional Park the site was purchased in 2003 to protect the largest remaining stand of Pine flatwoods in northern St. Lucie County.
