| Additional Information | Trails: A variety of paved (0.9 miles), gravel (1.5 miles) and natural (.3 miles) trails wind through the Preserve. Interpretive signage is located along the trails. Habitat: Wet Pine Flatwoods with a few scattered depression marshes. Commonly seen wildlife: Mockingbird, red-bellied woodpecker, armadillo, cardinal and catbird. |
| Historical Interest | Located within Lakewood Park Regional Park the site was purchased in 2003 to protect the largest remaining stand of Pine flatwoods in northern St. Lucie County. |
