Named for the former County and City Commissioner and beloved coach, this 63,000-square-foot multipurpose facility serves as a Special Needs Shelter in the event of a disaster. It also operates as a recreation center hosting Parks and Recreation programs, civic activities and special events.  The gymnasium features three basketball courts with bleacher seating for 2,000.  The gymnasium and multi-purpose rooms can accommodate athletic and recreational programming, classes, fitness training, meetings, parties, shows, civic events, etc.  Rentals:  facilities.
