The Fort Pierce Branch Library will host a presentation on “How to Start a Small Business” on Tuesday, Dec. 13 from 5 – 7:30 p.m.

Presented by Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Indian River State College, this workshop will cover: Start-up fundamentals; marketing and business planning; capital, credit, permits and licenses; employment and regulation issues; and business structure and taxation.
