Friday, May 28, 2010 - Oxbow's Nature For Families Follows Butterfies June 12
Take an adventure into a world of vibrant colors, curling mouth pieces and sticky feet as the Oxbow Eco-Center discovers beautiful butterflies and their unique adaptations on Saturday, June 12 from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.See what makes them one of the most popular and well-liked insects as part of the Oxbow's ongoing Nature For Families program, which is designed to make learning fun for the whole family. Participants will get a chance to experience life through the eyes of a butterfly, meet some native butterflies that live around the Oxbow, and create their own butterfly to take home.
