Thursday, June 3, 2010 - Fort Pierce LIbrary Announces June Movies

The Fort Pierce Branch Library announces its ''Friday Matinee'' lineup for June. Held every Friday, the library presents a free film, starting at 2 p.m.

• June 4 - "The Water Horse" (2007) featuring Bruce Allpress and Geraldine Brophy. Running time: 112 minutes
  
• June 11 - "Liar, Liar" (1997) featuring Jim Carey. Running time: 86 minutes
  
• June 18 - "Adventureland" (2009) featuring Jesse Eisenberg and Kelsey Ford.  Running time: 107 minutes
  
• June 25 - "Serenity" (2005) featuring Nathan Fillion and Gina Torres. Running time: 119 minute

A permission slip signed by a parent/guardian or picture ID is now required for all children under 14 to attend the library's Friday Matinee unless the parent is attending the movie with the child.
