Tuesday, June 22, 2010 - Enjoy Coffee With The Comissioners June 25

The St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce presents Coffee with the Commissioner on Friday, June 25 from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. in the St. Lucie County Commission Chambers on Virginia Avenue.

This event offers residents and businesses an opportunity to hear an update on St. Lucie County government-related projects with County Commission Chairman Charles Grande. Also, Ron Roberts with St. Lucie County's Solid Waste Department will provide an update on the proposed Geoplasma project at the County Landfill. The project would use plasma arc technology, which heats trash and turns the garbage into gas and a slag by-product, essentially eliminating waste that ends up in the landfill.

Complimentary coffee and baked goods will be provided. This networking event is free of charge and open to Chamber members and non-members.
