Friday, June 25, 2010 - Libraries Announce Summer Reading Program

The St. Lucie County Library System is hoping children will "make a splash" with its free summer reading program running through July at three County libraries. 

Designed for preschool through middle school students, registration for this summer reading program is not required, but space is limited. Seating will be first come, first served.

Programs at the Fort Pierce Branch Library, 101 Melody Lane, Fort Pierce, include:

  • Wednesday, June 30 at 2 p.m. - Mr. Brian & the Boppets
  • Friday, July 2 at 10 a.m. - Storytime with Miss Sally
  • Wednesday, July 7 at 2 p.m. - Magician Brett Gregory
  • Friday, July 9 at 10 a.m. - Storytime with Miss Sally
  • Wednesday, July 14 at 2 p.m. - Page Turner Adventures
  • Friday, July 16 at 10 a.m. - Storytime with Miss Sally

Programs at the Morningside Branch Library, 2410 SE Morningside Blvd., Port St. Lucie, include:  

  • Wednesday, June 30 at 10:30 a.m. - Mr. Brian & the Boppets
  • Thursday, July 1 at 10:30 a.m. - Storytime with Miss Theresa
  • Wednesday, July 7 at 10:30 a.m. - Magician Brett Gregory
  • Thursday, July 8 at 10:30 a.m. - Storytime with Miss Theresa
  • Wednesday, July 14 at 10:30 a.m. - Page Turner Adventures
