Wednesday, July 14, 2010 - SLCTV To Televise Candidate Forum For August Primaries
The public is invited to be a part of the live studio audience for "Decision 2010" - a candidate forum for the August Primary Elections - on Thursday, July 22, starting at 9 a.m. in the St. Lucie County Commission Chambers.Organized and coordinated by the St. Lucie County League of Women Voters, WPSL 1590 AM and SLCTV - St. Lucie County's government access channel, the forum will feature candidates for the St. Lucie County School Board Districts 1 and 3; St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners Districts 2 and 4; Port St. Lucie City Council Mayor and Districts 1 and 3; City of Fort Pierce Commissioner District 2; St. Lucie County Property Appraiser, County Judge Group 1 and State Representative District 80.
"Decision 2010" will take place Thursday, July 22, starting at 9 a.m. in the St. Lucie County Commission Chambers of the Roger Poitras Administration Building, 2300 Virginia Ave., Fort Pierce. WPSL 1590 AM's Carol Wyatt will serve as the moderator for this event.
The forum will not be televised live, but be replayed on SLCTV (Comcast 21), starting at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 25. Additionally, the forum will be broadcast on WPSL 1590 AM, PSLTV (Comcast 20) and FPTV (Comcast 27) at various times up until the Aug. 24 Primary Election. Check local listings for airtimes. The forum will also be posted for viewing on SLCTV's website www.stlucieco.gov/slctv under the Video on Demand section.
