Friday, July 23, 2010 - Oxbow's Swamp Tales Explores Frogs Aug. 4

Get lost in a book and take an exciting adventure with the Oxbow Eco-Center staff on Wednesday, Aug. 4 at 3:45 p.m. as they read "Jump, Frog, Jump!" by Robert Kalan.

"Jump, Frog, Jump!" is an interactive story following a frog's life in the food chain surrounding his pond. Jump with him as he evades predators like fish, snakes, and turtles. Afterward, create your own paper plate frog puppet. This free program is appropriate for children ages 2 to 6.

The Oxbow Eco-Center, St. Lucie County's premiere environmental learning center, is situated on 225 acres along the St. Lucie River at 5400 N.E. St. James Drive, Port St. Lucie. For more information call (772) 785-5842 or visit: www.stlucieco.gov/erd/oxbow.
